Mallory & BeckyLove, Laramie
We love to volunteer and serve the Laramie community because this is the place that we call home and the place that our children are growing up in. Volunteering gives us the opportunity to give back and do our part to make Laramie just a little bit better, in any way we can help. We would encourage others to start or keep volunteering because in order for this community to be the best place we all know it can be it "takes a village" and giving back in any way to a place you call home is not only gratifying but it is rewarding to know you did your part.

Love, Laramie is a labor of love for us. We began this non-profit as a way for us to help the youth of Laramie and the surrounding communities and it has become much more than that in the last few years. Our yearly 5k for Suicide Awareness and Memorial has become not only a great fundraiser for local agencies but also a great way for us to raise awareness for something that has affected many people in our community. It has been amazing to see how our "drives" for food, school supplies, as well as personal hygiene items has been able to serve so many families in the community and how so many individuals and businesses have stepped up to help us out with these events. We started Love Laramie because we saw that there were some needs in the community that were not being met by any existing services. We began so that we could help fill the gaps that exist and then also help out whenever a person or group reached out to us. We see ourselves as an additional place for getting more exposure to lesser-known needs and then work hard help promote ways the community can support those needs. Mallory & Becky are the Volunteers of the Month for Love, Laramie Sponsored by Bond’s Brewing Company.
