Laramie Pride Fest

​Volunteering is important because I love to be involved and meet people in the community. Since starting to volunteer I feel I am now connected with so many wonderful people who share my interests and have a very large community in Laramie.

​I intend to go out of state for college but volunteering and being on the board for LPF has helped me gain a newfound of for Laramie that I don't feel I had before volunteering. I would encourage people to volunteer in their community in some way because it has definitely helped me gain perspective and learn many things that I couldn't learn in any other way. I have also found that if you volunteer for something you are passionate about, it is more fun than it is work.

Cameron's involvement with Laramie PrideFest further exemplifies his commitment to the cause. Serving as an active board member and the liaison between LEADS and Laramie PrideFest, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission. His role as co-chair of the events committee has allowed him to contribute significantly to the planning and execution of numerous events, including the Laramie Pride March, Pride in the Park, Matthew Shepard Memorials, and the innovative Queer Outdoors Program.
