Volunteering is important because I love to be involved and meet people in the community. Since starting to volunteer I feel I am now connected with so many wonderful people who share my interests and have a very large community in Laramie.
I intend to go out of state for college but volunteering and being on the board for LPF has helped me gain a newfound of for Laramie that I don't feel I had before volunteering. I would encourage people to volunteer in their community in some way because it has definitely helped me gain perspective and learn many things that I couldn't learn in any other way.
